Go ahead, shoot the missile
N. Korean threat activates shieldThe United States has activated its new ground-based interceptor missile defense system in response to a possible North Korean missile test, according to a published report. A Washington Times story in Tuesday's editions says the United States is considering intercepting the missile if North Korea goes ahead with the test.
Good for Bush administration! I'm glad we have a U.S. President who will finally stand up to this whack job Kim Jong II. Not only is this missile test a provocative act from a loose cannon communist regime, it's a test of our will to stand up to such aggression.
Unlike President Clinton who allowed America to get blackmailed by N. Korea, this Administration will respond appropriately. If you threaten us or our allies along the Korean peninsula and Japan, we'll bust your ass. I can almost hear the liberal cut-and-run kids puckering as I write this..."but, but, we should give peace a chance."
We did. It's called a missile-test ban that was imposed in 1999 and reaffirmed in a pact with Japan in 2002 by the North Koreans themselves.
