Supreme Court Blocks Guantanamo Bay War-Crimes TrialsWASHINGTON — The Supreme Court delivered a blow to the Bush administration's anti-terror policies Thursday when it ruled that the president was out of line when he ordered military war-crimes trials for some Guantanamo Bay detainees.
After posting my rant about Bukko, I figured it would be good to get this out there. Try to understand this ruling for one second and it will get your blood boiling. In a nut shell, the Supreme Court says terrorists held at Gitmo can't be tried for war crimes and ultimately that al Qaeda gets Geneva Convention protections.
