Red River racism
You'll have to forgive me for kicking my week off on a Tuesday. I took Monday off to spend the day wakeboarding with my wife and friends for my birthday. But as usual, the long weekend has left me with tons and tons of material to write about. So I'll start things off simple with the following story that hit the blogs last Friday. It's a sad story of pure racism in modern times...
| COUSHATTA - Nine black children attending Red River Elementary School were directed last week to the back of the school bus by a white driver who designated the front seats for white children. The situation has outraged relatives of the black children who have filed a complaint with school officials. |
Iowa Voice has some linkage and the AP posted this video.
My perspective is quite simple...you must be a sad individual if you can't look at all races as equals.
Centerblue.org asks is this 2006 or 1966? But the truth is, we should all be asking how to stop ignorance like this from ever occurring.
