Weather not listening to warming hype
It seems we have ourselves in a pickle here. More snow and ice are falling upon the typically temperate South Africa.
You'll remember the reports a few weeks ago of the previous rare snowfall across the cape.
And just last week hurricane forecasters trimmed the 2006 projections, saying "cooler than expected waters in the tropical Atlantic are helping drive down the number of hurricanes."
So where is Algore when you need him? Surely Mr. Global Warming has something to say about all this. Cooler water, more snow, thicker ice caps...all happening just months after "An Inconvenient Truth" was released. Turns out the only thing inconvenient about global warming is the weather not cooperating.
