What ever happened to the happy liberals? You know the ones I'm talking about. The folks who were open-minded and accepting of all people. Seems as though that day and age is long gone.

Honestly, I thought it was a Saturday Night Live skit. I mean, here is the President of the United States calling on our leaders to make sure the government doesn't take more of our hard-earned money. And here is half the room (the democrats) sitting idly with their thumbs up their backsides while the republican half applauds.
It should smack all of us in the face when we watch this to see the left side of our elected leadership unhappy at the idea of giving the taxpayer a break. Forget their issues with the budget, the deficit, war spending...this was a simple statement about the money you work hard to earn.

The biggest reason I started this blog was because of the ignorance that permeates through much of America and our political world. Too often our elected officials are making decisions based on the good of their own campaign and not of the people they represent.
