Who stands for lower taxes?
I said a few weeks ago that I would try to continue this blog and so my attempts begin today. Yesterday I checked out Michelle Malkin's page and found a very humorous yet poignant remainder of the divide on Capitol Hill. Check it out...Honestly, I thought it was a Saturday Night Live skit. I mean, here is the President of the United States calling on our leaders to make sure the government doesn't take more of our hard-earned money. And here is half the room (the democrats) sitting idly with their thumbs up their backsides while the republican half applauds.
It should smack all of us in the face when we watch this to see the left side of our elected leadership unhappy at the idea of giving the taxpayer a break. Forget their issues with the budget, the deficit, war spending...this was a simple statement about the money you work hard to earn.
