Iranian threats continue

***Update:*** This story came out yesterday but Blogger/Google decided they wanted to have some tech problems right as I tried to post. So it's old news but still worth checking out.
If there is anyone out there who is still not convinced Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is a nut case? Earlier today, Ahmadinejad continued his aggressive hate speech toward Israel at a conference questioning the Holocaust.
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday told delegates at an international conference questioning the Holocaust that Israel's days were numbered. Ahmadinejad, who has sparked international outcry by referring to the killing of six million Jews in World War Two as a "myth" and calling for Israel to be "wiped off the map," launched another verbal attack on the Jewish state. "Thanks to people's wishes and God's will the trend for the existence of the Zionist regime is downwards and this is what God has promised and what all nations want," he said. "Just as the Soviet Union was wiped out and today does not exist, so will the Zionist regime soon be wiped out," he added. |
My question is, how long will it be before retiring UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan blames this one on America as well? And when will someone in the international community finally realize the threat this guy poses?
And Democratic leaders want us to "reach out" to Iran?
Guess their all hoping if they play nice, Mr. Ahmadinejad will spare them his Islamic-Jihad wrath.
